UNIQUE! :Cruising With The Whales is a locally owned and operated family business. Formerly known as Island Quest Marine for 25 years, developed by captain Chris Leavitt and family. Under new ownership, captain Joel is a 4th generation fisherman with a lifetime of experience fishing and navigating the Bay of Fundy. Joel grew up aboard fishing boats, learning the ways in the lobster and scallop fishery, as well as our traditional fishery, the herring weirs, learning from his grandfather, grandmother, father and mother who all made their living on the amazing Bay of Fundy. The family has decided to change things up and share their extensive knowledge and love for the ocean with You. Unique and authentic are the stories and demonstrations Joel and crew will share on your 2.5 to 3 hour Ultimate Adventure, aboard the Island Quest.

FIRST CLASS: The 45 ft. M/V Island Quest, custom-built for whale watching, is certified to operate beyond inshore waters, ensuring St. Andrews’ highest sighting rate possible. With comfortable inside and outside seating, magnificent 360o viewing from two spacious decks, and a washroom, our cruises are suitable for all ages.
